    Bethlehem Lutheran Church

    About Us

A member of the Duneland community since 1889, Bethlehem Lutheran Church exists to 'Change lives through Christ with Love and Acts of Service'. We are a congregation that is Christ-centered and community-focused, aiming to follow Christ's command to change lives for the better, whether those lives are in our own backyards or across the globe.

We offer opportunities for worship on Saturdays at 5 pm and Sundays at 8:30 am, with our Sunday morning service being live-streamed on YouTube.

Bible Study is offered in-person on Tuesdays at 11 am and online on Mondays at 7:30 pm. Check our website and Facebook page for more details.

Our mission quilters, who sew quilts for refugees and disaster victims, meet Thursdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am; sewing experience is not required or necessary. Other opportunities to serve others change on a monthly basis.

In addition to our own congregational activities, Bethlehem Lutheran's building is host to the Northwest Indiana Learning Community, a weekly Narcotics Anonymous meeting, 3 weekly Alcoholic Anonymous meetings, and various Girl Scout events and troops. We welcome other community groups to see if your group can find a home here as well.

If this sounds like a community where you can see yourself, regardless of whether you are a lifelong Christian or just starting to explore what being a believer means, we invite you to come and see where there is a place for you at Bethlehem.
