Ivy Tech Community College Names New Director of Marketing Communications

Valparaiso, IN – Ivy Tech has announced the new Director of Marketing for the college campus.
Erika Mihalek, a strategic digital storyteller and communications lead who has served Porter County for 10+ years has been named the Director of Marketing.
 
Her responsibilities will include marketing and structuring communications at the Valparaiso Campus, Michigan City & LaPorte Sites.
 
Erika started her career at Northwest Indiana Community Action Agency as a Resource Database Specialist for Indiana 2-1-1 in 2013. In 2016, she was then appointed as Communications Lead for the agency. In subsequent years after, Erika served in sales, communications, and public relations management roles across both Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL.
 
Erika’s brings wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Ivy Tech campus. In her spare time, Erika enjoys cooking, interior design and traveling.
