Reins of Life, Inc. offers therapeutic riding, carriage driving and interactive vaulting lessons to adults and children with disabilities. If you are interested in getting involved with a great non-profit organization, please consider volunteering at Reins of Life. During training, you’ll learn about the history of Reins of Life, their mission and programs and how to groom, tack and lead a horse.
Training sessions will be held at Reins of Life, 9375 W 300 N, Michigan City on the following dates: Monday, October 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.; Tuesday, October 26 from noon-2:00 p.m.; and Friday, October 29 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Closed-toe shoes are required, and participants must be at least 13 years old. Parents must sign paperwork for anyone under 18. Horse experience is not required. Sessions will be limited to the first six people who sign up.
