Tina Horn-New Tobacco Education & Prevention Staff Member

The Tobacco Education and Prevention Coalition for Porter County, in affiliation with the Valparaiso University College of Nursing and Health Professions is proud to announce the addition of a new staff member, Tina Horn, MPH, TTS, Tobacco Treatment Outreach Specialist. Tina is responsible for working in our Porter County communities to provide tobacco nicotine education and prevention services to Porter County residents, with a special emphasis on youth outreach and smoke-free air policies. Tina obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue North Central and her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Purdue University. She spent most of her career working in education and healthcare which allowed her to realize her passion for helping others to achieve health equity. She obtained her Tobacco Treatment Specialist certification in 2022.
