POSITION

Associate - Full-time or Part-time opportunities available

LOCATIONS

La Porte, Michigan City, and Valparaiso, Indiana

OPPORTUNITIES

As an Associate you will have the opportunity to:

Participate in our Associate orientation, a technical training and development program designed to give you the tools you need to immediately contribute to client engagements

Perform bookkeeping, including general ledger work and bank reconciliations Prepare workpapers, including trial balances, depreciation schedules, and debt

amortization schedules

Prepare sales and payroll tax returns

Manage in-house and external deadlines to ensure compliance

Learn on the job and work directly with staff, including seniors and managers with

a range of experience and specializations

Work with our diverse client base, including individuals and businesses

QUALIFICATIONS,

CERTIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent or other relevant professional accreditation

Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping

Experience in accounting work or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Willingness to work hard and contribute to organizational goals

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong technical computer skills, with focus on spreadsheets, word processing, and

accounting and productivity soltware
